Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for Alumni of Indian School Muladha(ISML-A)
1.0: Introduction
The Indian School Muladha Alumni, ISML-A aims to connect and engage with individuals who have passed through its gates since the inception in 1991, fostering a sense of community, sharing knowledge, and promoting lifelong friendships. This SOP outlines the process for joining the alumni group, its objectives, and the benefits of membership.
1.1: Objectives of Alumni
The primary objectives of the ISML-A are:
- To connect and engage with former students and staff, providing a platform for networking and lifelong learning.
- To promote and maintain a sense of community among alumni, fostering friendships and a shared sense of identity.
- To provide opportunities for professional development, career growth, and skill enhancement.
- To contribute to the school’s growth and development, offering support and guidance.
1.2: Aims
– Serve as a vital link between the alumni across the world & alma mater thereby maintaining contact with alumni globally.
– Provide updates on the school to alumni.
– Conduct networking events & involve alumni in mentorship & sponsorship programmes.
– Provide platform for alumni to contribute to the well-being of the school.
– Help & motivate alumni to raise funds for school development.
– Provide platform for alumni for Academic mentoring – Provide career guidance to students.
– Provide platform for alumni to Sponsor & provide a helping hand to deserving children from economically challenged backgrounds.
– Provide opportunities to alumni to volunteer at on & off campus events of the school.
– Maintain database of Indian School Muladha Alumni (ISML- A ).
– Maintain database of ex-staff
– When deemed appropriate, appoint an ISML-A Executive Committee, as per ISML-A Bye-laws which is approved by School Management Committee.
1.3: Membership Criteria
To become a member of the Indian School Muladha Alumni, individuals must meet the following criteria:
- Students: Must have studied at Indian School Muladha for a minimum of 2 years and took TC without any disciplinary action
- Staff: Must have worked at the Indian School Muladha for a minimum of 2 years and left the school without any disciplinary action.
1.4: Registration Process
- Registration will be done through the following channels:
* QR code: A designated QR code will be placed on the school’s website and social media channels.
* School website: A dedicated section on the school’s website will be created for alumni registration.
- Registration form: A Google form will be created for alumni to fill in their details, including name, contact information, and educational/staff history.
- Upon successful submission of the form, an email with a membership card will be sent to the registered email address.
1.5: Benefits of Membership
As a member of the Indian School Muladha alumni group, individuals will enjoy the following benefits:
- Membership card
- Souvenir badge
- Access to exclusive alumni events and activities
- Opportunities for professional development and career growth
- Contribution to the school’s growth and development
1.6: Communication and Update
- The school will maintain an email list of registered alumni and keep them updated on events, news, and activities through regular emails and social media notifications.
- Alumni will be encouraged to share their updates, achievements, and interests through the alumni email list and social media groups.
1.7: Data Management
- The school will maintain a secure and confidential database of alumni information.
- All data provided during registration will be stored in compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations.
1.8: Termination of membership from ISML-A
Any member found to be indulging in anti-professional activities against ISML or ISML-A or the society at large.
1.09: Review and Revision
This SOP will be reviewed and revised periodically to ensure that it remains relevant and effective in achieving the objectives of the Indian School Muladha Alumni go ahead,

Process Revamping for Indian School Muladha Alumni Group (ISML-A) on Graduation Day, February 1, 2025
Objective:
To revamp the Indian School Muladha Alumni Group (ISML-A) and enhance its engagement, visibility, and services on the graduation day of Grade XII for the batch of 2024-25, leading to a strong foundation for future alumni relationships.
- Pre-Event Planning (1st December 2024 – 27th January 2025)
1.1 Define Goals:
– Enhance alumni engagement and visibility during the graduation ceremony.
– Create a memorable experience for graduating students and invite them to join the alumni group.
**1.2 Form an Event Committee:**
– members from the faculty and existing alumni to oversee the revamping process.

- ARCHANA – DATABASE MAINTAINENCE
- THILLAIKARASI – ICT SUPPORT
– Designate roles for communication, logistics, and event execution.
**1.3 Communication Strategy: **
– Develop promotional materials highlighting ISML-A’s benefits and upcoming initiatives.
– Use school newsletters, social media, and website announcements to engage graduating students.
- Graduation Day
**2.1 Alumni Booth:**
– Set up an ISML-A booth at the graduation venue. (Flux)
– Provide information about alumni benefits, events, and membership registration details.(during the pro. and in the website
– Use QR codes for easy access to registration forms and details. (displaying flux)
**2.2 Membership Drive:**
– Launch an exclusive membership drive for graduating students.
**2.3 Souvenir and Recognition:**
– Present each graduating student with a personalized souvenir badge
– Recognize notable alumni contributions and achievements during the ceremony to inspire new graduates.
- Alumni Networking Opportunities
**3.1 Panel Discussion:**
– Organize a “Life After School” panel featuring successful alumni who can share their experiences and insights.
– Encourage interaction between graduates and alumni to foster mentorship opportunities.
**3.2 Alumni Networking Session:**
– Host a brief networking session after the graduation ceremony to facilitate introductions between graduates and alumni.
– Use icebreaker activities to encourage conversation.
- Post-Event Activities
**4.1 Follow-Up Communication:**
– Send thank-you emails or messages to graduates who visited the booth or participated in activities, inviting them officially to join the alumni group.
– Include links to the membership registration form and highlight upcoming alumni events.
**4.2 Feedback Collection:**
– Create a Google form for graduates to provide feedback on their experience with ISML-A during graduation day.
– Use this feedback to identify strengths and areas for improvement in future alumni engagement.

**5.1 Social Media Presence:**
– Increase the alumni group’s visibility on social media platforms by regularly sharing alumni stories, successes, and news.
