Houses & Clubs


The school has four Houses, namely, MUSCAT, NIZWA, SALALAH, SUR. Each house is headed by a house master with house associates. Inter House competitions are held in the areas like Board Display, Debate, Declamation, Skit, Drawing, Poetical Recitation, Rangoli, Quiz, Drawing, Fancy dress etc. Each house functions under the supervision and guidance of a Senior Teacher as House Master who is assisted by teachers, House Captain, House Vice-Captain and prefects.

​Inter scholastic activities are important components of our education. It is imperative for us to expose them to multi-sensory first hand experience and learning opportunities through seminars, workshops, assemblies & Saturday programmes.

These activities go from physical development & sports interest to artistic endeavors, learning about science, maths, language and computers to making models, solving cross-word puzzles, doing social work by visiting hospitals etc. Our school provides varied opportunities for all grade levels.

Extracurricular activities render an opportunity to correlate academic skills with the real world context. Featured and creative curriculum facilitates children to learn better Social skills,  Critical Thinking and Teamwork. As a top C.B.S.E.  school near Muscat we strive to encourage our students to take part in multiple activities. Clubs are so vital because they are the ultimate in experiential learning for young people, giving them the leadership and power to make their own decisions and watch the implications of those decisions on the lives of others.

  • Fine Arts Club: The Fine Art Club is to encourage students to express their thoughts, feelings and creativity through the various visual art forms. Fine Arts Club of the school provides an opportunity to the students to let their imagination run wild and enable them see things in a different way. Students learn from one another and share their prowess in different aspects of art.
  • Dance Club: Incorporates a variety of dance styles, including classical and modern. The dancers will be introduced to various kinds of dance, while later exploring the mechanics of the structure of each style.
  • Instrumental Music Club: In this club children learn the proper basic techniques of instrument playing, group performance, and music skills, so it is ideal as a starting point into instrument playing.
  • Vocal (Music) Club:  Vocal music is probably the oldest form of music, since it does not require any instrument besides the human voice. All musical cultures have some form of vocal music. Vocal music is a type of music performed by one or more singers, either with instrumental accompaniment, or without instrumental accompaniment, in which singing provides the main focus of the piece. Members of Vocal (Music) Club are given exhaustive training in vocal music.
  • Quiz Club: Quiz Club is a unique and exciting way to motivate, inspire, encourage and reward children in their quest for knowledge and provide them with the opportunity to participate in various Quiz Competitions.
  • Language Clubs (English Club, Hindi Club &Malayalam Club): These clubs inculcate among students a flair for the language and enhance their literary skills and induce reading habit in students. The activities encourage students to become orators and display their intellectual, independent thinking skills and imbibe a sense of confidence. Language clubs provide a platform for debating events and help students to improve and encourage creative writing.
  • Maths Club: The Maths Club stives to help students grasp mathematical concepts better through activities like puzzles, shortcuts in calculations and games. It also develops models and aids to facilitate a better grasp of mathematical concepts
  • Science Club: This club aims to inculcate and improve scientific temper, promote scientific thinking and new ideas and enhance scientific awareness among our students.
  • Health & Hygiene Club: Health education plays an important role in the field of education. To prevent illness and have positive health attitude, correct and complete knowledge of health is necessary. The Health Club endeavors to sensitize its members to the significance of health and hygiene and formulate policies to achieve its goals.
  • Scouts & Guides Club: The club works in line with the principles of The Bharat Scouts and Guides which is the national Scouting and Guiding association of India.  The club strives to make its members, mentally and physically robust so that they can make a positive contribution to their communities and the wider world. The Scouts and Guides Movement endeavors  to shape the character and individuality of the members and help them grow as socially responsible human beings. Adventure Activities, Trekking, Nature Study Camp, Skill Development Programs, Training programs on Patrolling,first aid  etc. are organized for the members of the club.
  • Cubs & Bulbuls Club : Cubs and Bulbuls Club is the first lap in the journey towards scouting and guiding .It prepares the boys and girls to take up bigger tasks in scouting and guiding and also helps in their mental and physical growth. Children learn to be independent and to live life in a disciplined manner.
  • Yoga Club: Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines originated in ancient India. The Yoga Club strives to familiarize its members with postures and asanas in Yoga and encourage the regular practice of them.
